This privacy policy sets out how Suné du Toit & Associates uses and protects any information that you give us when you use this website and our physiotherapy services, equine, human and Pilates.

Suné du Toit & Associates is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. Should we ask you to provide certain information by which you can be identified when using this website or physiotherapy services, then you can be assured that it will only be used in accordance with this privacy statement.

Suné du Toit & Associates may change this policy when required by updating this page. You should check this page from time to time to ensure that you are happy with any changes.

The data we hold on clients is what is sent with medical and equine history forms. The data is never passed onto a third party without email cleint consent. Date of consent is documented. Clients details are deleted after two years of no appointments. Clients are welcome at anytime to request full details of all data held regarding you or your horse. Clients can have all their data deleted at any time.

Clients always have the option to be removed from mailing lists that they have previously opted in to.

WHAT WE COLLECT

We may collect the following information:

  • Medical details; human and equine

  • Veterinary contact details with permission verbal or written to contact

  • Contact information including email address and phone number

  • Demographic information such as postcode

  • Other information relevant to customer surveys and/or offers

WHAT WE DO WITH THE INFORMATION WE GATHER

We require this information to understand your needs and provide you with a better service, and in particular for the following reasons:

  • Internal record keeping

  • We use the medical information to be able to assess and treat appropriately

  • Veterinary details due to insurance requirements and to ensure we offer the appropriate services and treatment for your horse

  • We may periodically send promotional emails about new services, special offers or other information which we think you may find interesting using the email address which you have provided

  • From time to time, we may also use your information to contact you for market research purposes. We may contact you by email, phone, or mail. We may use the information to customise the website according to your interests
