Sune du Toit & Associates was founded by Sune du Toit in 2003. Sune had previously qualified as a human chartered physiotherapist in 1997, in South Africa, before moving to England and working alongside Victoria Spalding who is the British Equestrian Team Equine Veterinary Physiotherapist. In 2002, Sune qualified as a veterinary physiotherapist, and the rest they say is history. Sune du Toit & Associates, based in Nottinghamshire, is unique in that both human and equine patients can be treated, giving a thoroughly rounded approach to the physiotherapy needed to allow the horse and rider to work as a team and to gain the best out of their partnership.
In 2014, the horse and rider physiotherapy clinics were launched and have proven to be a very popular concept, offering a diverse approach to the rider and horse as a combination and our clients have found them very beneficial in the prevention and remedying of any postural or balance dysfunctions of both the horse and rider.
More about Sune can be found on the Meet the Team Page of the website.
Sarah joined the team in October 2016 and is the PA to Sune. Sarah has a long-standing background of working with horses, in both a professional capacity and now for pleasure and makes up part of one of our sponsored riders (Team Taylor). Sarah is responsible for booking appointments, liaising with vets, speaking to clients and most of the day-to-day administration that goes on behind the scenes at Sune du Toit & Associates. Most of our regular clients will have spoken to her at some point on the phone and may have met her at our horse and rider clinics – So now you can put a face to the name!
So, that’s us done for now, a short one we know, but we will keep the blog and news section up to date, on a regular basis, so keep checking back for more news and interesting articles that we feel may be of interest to you.
